Additional assumptions: existing boiler is located in the close vicinity of drainage (for termination of slightly acidic condensate water); existing gas supply to the boiler is of 22mm diameter as per Gas Safe regulation requirements; existing boiler has standard horizontal round flue.
**This extra cost represents the additional work involved in dismantling old hot and cold water tanks with any other obsolete fittings (external pump, divertor valves, etc), piping your new combination boiler, brick-up of existing flue opening (sometimes large square hole) and disposing of old system in an environmentally friendly manner.
Possible extras on top of our offer prices (materials only, including VAT):
Typical gas pipe upgrade from 15mm (no longer legal) to current standard 22mm copper will cost approx £90. Additional flue extensions will cost approx £40 per length. Change from standard horizontal to vertical flue will cost £95 plus any roof flashings, etc. Pair of 45 deg flue bends to offset the flue will cost £54. Cost of additional pipework for condensate termination is impossible to guestimate (depending on the lengths of additional pipe run). In some cases we may suggest the condensate pump at the cost of £90. Exact quotation will be provided in writing (by email, unless stated otherwise) after no obligation site visit.

Customers come back to us repeatedly because of the relationship of trust between us. We will NOT talk you into any work that is not needed and we will NOT overcharge you under any circumstances. | Hourly Rates: | There is a minimum charge of one hour on all jobs, thereafter work is charged in 15 minute increments. All rates exclude the cost of materials and are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate. |
| Day Rate: | £400 plus VAT at the prevailing rate. |
| Fixed Price: | Written quotations will always be issued via email unless clearly stated otherwise. |
| No Extra Charges: | Customers will not be charged for parking or the time engineers spend traveling to jobs. |
| Estimates: | **Estimates are generally non chargeable. Some estimates may incur a charge depending on the nature of the work, the area and the time of the appointment. Any charge made will be deducted from the final invoice. |
| Deposit: | 35% of the total value of the agreed proposal must be paid prior to any material delivery or installation. |
| Invoice: | An invoice will always be produced clearly showing a full description of work carried out. |
| Payment: | Any agreed payments must be made in full by cash to the engineer upon receipt of invoice or (preferably) by direct bank transfer. We do not accept credit or debit card payments at the moment. Cheques are generally not accepted although some exceptions can be made. |
